Fabulous February!! It's almost hard to believe that the month is almost over!
First
and foremost.. welcome new SOHS members! We are very honored that you
have chosen to be here with us and our entire community looks forward
to supporting you and your dreams!
UPDATES
1.) It's a Hit!
Bi-Weekly Conference Calls: On the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every
month. We've now had our first two official group conference calls and
they were GREAT! UPCOMING: March 3: SOHS Conference Call: The Wonderful Wolrld Of WordPress
You can always find the archives of these calls at our 'Conference Archives' found on the top nav under 'Community'
For
those of you that don't know about the calls yet: We will convene to
have an open topic for discussion where all are free to ask questions,
contribute wisdom, get advice, share stories etc. And of course, you'd
be welcome to just be a silent listener. I will try and have an expert
on each topic for every call who can help share some valuable tips,
insight and knowledge with you.
2.) I would like to introduce you two wonderful and awesome new additions to our community: Todd Greenbaum:
Not only is Todd my friend but he is also a coach/mentor for Joe
Vitale's, Bob Doyle's and Nitro Marketing's online business development
programs. He's going to be hanging out here to help answer your most
pressing internet marketing questions. PLEASE use me and Todd to help
answer your questions. This is priceless! (btw, just to embarass Todd
a little.. he is a cutie patooty!!)
Ade Shokoya - Ade is a great friend of SOHS and is the site owner of a brand spankin' new site www.ItsAnEntrepreneursWorld.com Ade's
site is what I would consider a 'companion site' to SOHS. Ade will be
sharing and providing us with some of his amazing content on success
and his wonderful entrepreneurial mind! 3.) SOHS Coaching Radio is GREAT!! – We’ve had more great shows the past month.

4.) Who is going to be the Febrauary User Points Winner? – Remember, we are giving away a one year paid subscription to www.InspireMeToday.com valued at over $100 to the first person to earn 250 pts.
5.) New features added to the site:
- -Friend
Activity - Now on your profile view you will see a new tab called
'Friend Activity'. Now you can see all the activity of your
friends/connections.
- -Groups - Now you can create your own
groups! You can join an existing group or start your own. I have few
tweaks to do on some spacing issues but other than that it works
great! You may find 'Groups' on the top nav under 'Community'
- -Your
Picture on Events - I have set it up now so you can sign up for any of
the SOHS events such as our conference calls, etc. It doesn't mean
anything other than when you select 'register' you're gorgeous picture
shows up so we can all see that you'll be there. See here
6.) New juicy interviews lined up for March! They are AMAZING!

Featured Interviewee and Secret Panel member Rebecca Marina is going to
offer 3 grants to our community! 2 in the amount of $250 and 1 for a
private one hour session with her!!

for every interview. Was hoping to have this ready for you for
February but is in the works for March (which will include transcripts
for Feb interviews)
- -Like 'Friend Activity' you will be able to
see 'User Activity' for the entire site. Testing at the very bottom of
the Site News page if you would like to see it in action
- -You'll soon be noticing some big changes on the main SOHS home page
- -Download
Directory – You will be able to access free downloads offered by our
community, as well as the ability to upload your own offers.
- -Member Business Directory – You will be able to list your business and have a whole space to share all you want about it
- -Featured Experts Directory – You will easily be able to find the experts in our community to help you
- -And sooooo much more! (I need a clone!)
GLITCHES & HICCUPS
Working on these little known issues: - -If you leave a comment on an Event it will put it on a random article when you see 'Latest Comments' list
- -Friend Activity in your user profile sometimes puts everyone as adding a particular post
- -Groups spacing is off a wee bit
FINAL NOTE
As
always I cannot give a big enough thank you to all of those that are
present and participating at the site. It’s been great to watch our
little site starting to gain life and momentum!!
Please won’t
you join us if you haven’t been to the site in a while. We’re only as
successful as the life flow of our community. We need you! And,
besides that.. you can earn great free stuff just for hanging out with
us!
